Media Formats
We accept all forms of media, and will endeavour to suit your needs.
Recommended media:
- Any type of Flash Memory Card ie. SD, CF, XD, Memory Stick
- Cd-R
- DVD-/+ R
- USB Memory Key
- Portable Hard Drives
We do not recommend using CDRW or DVDRW. These tend to be unreliable, and in some cases may be unable to be read in any drive other than the one it was created in. If however, this is all you have, then bring it in and we will attempt to retrieve the information from it.
Getting your images to us
- You can bring your images directly to our lab on any of the formats listed above
- You can email us your photos for either collection or delivery (we will phone you regarding payment options). E-mails up to 20mb in size are accepted. If you have more images than this, feel free to split your order over a few emails – just let us know.
- You can use the online service Fujipix.ie Select Conns Cameras for Quality Prints.
File Types
For Printing on the Fuji Frontier 590 (up to 12″ x 18″ Prints)
The standard print file we accept is JPEG. We can however, accept any image file type if necessary.
If you have RAW images from a DSLR, we would ask that you convert these images to 8BIT JPEG.
If you are working on your photo in Photoshop or any other image edititing software, please convert the copy for print to 8BIT JPEG.
If you are unable to convert your images, we can convert them for you. Just bring them in and ask for a member of the lab staff to help you.

NOTE: Compact Cameras shoot in JPEG. If you are unsure of your file type, please feel free to contact us.
For Wide-Format Printing
For large prints you should provide us with an uncompressed TIFF image, most suitably at the size that you require the final print to be. The print resolution is 360ppi.
For ICC profiles, please contact us regarding your preferred paper etc.
